Internet Banking FAQ


Q.  What browsers are currently supported?
A.  Internet Explorer 7.0 and 8.0 and Mozilla Firefox 3 and Google Chrome with the default browser settings


Please use the following trouble shooting tips for logging into Internet Banking

  1. Blank page displays after login
    • Does the URL display ibmain.r at the end? If so, try changing it to acctlist.w and hit enter. If that works, then go to Services>Change Info and chose a different default screen?
  2. Try another PC.
    • If you are able to login from another PC, there may be a program on your PC or an issue with Windows preventing you from logging in.
  3. Delete Cookies, Temporary Internet Files(Cache) and History item.
    • For IE 7.0
      Go to Tools>Internet Options>General, click on Delete under Browsing History. You will want to delete Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and History.
    • For Firefox
      Go to Tools>Options>Privacy, click on Settings under Private Data. Check Browsing History, Cache and Cookies. To clear them click on Clear Now under the Private Data Section. Or if all the settings are setup, click on Tools>Clear Private Data
  4. Add domain to your trusted sites
    • For IE 7.0
      Under Tools>Internet Options>Privacy, click on Sites. Enter in pcsbanking.net and ibank.pcs-sd.net. Click on Allow.
    • For Firefox
      Under Tools>Options>Privacy, click on Exceptions under Cookies. Enter in pcsbanking.net and ibank.pcs-sd.net. Click on allow.
  5. Reset Browser to Defaults
    • For IE 7.0
      Under Tools>Internet Options>Advanced, click on Restore Advanced Settings and under Reset Internet Explorer Settings, click on Reset. These will restore the browser settings to the default settings. Exit and restart your browser.
    • For Firefox
      Click on Start>All Programs>Mozilla Firefox >Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode) A Firefox Safe Mode box will pop up, click on Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults and click on Make Changes and Restart.
  6. Verify History Delete Setting
    • For IE 7.0
      Under Tools>Internet Options, under the browsing history section, go to Settings. Make sure there is a dot in "Delete browing history on exit".
  7. Verify Privacy Settings
    • For IE 7.0
      Under Tools>Internet Options>Privacy, verify the Settings are set to Medium or lower.
  8. Verify Third Party Browser Extensions
    • For IE 7.0
      Under Tools>Internet Options>Advanced, check Enable third-party browser extensions
  9. Enable JavaScript
    • For IE 7.0
      Under Tools>Internet Options>Security
      Click on Custom Level
      Scroll down until you see section labeled Active Scripting
      Select Enable and click OK
      Click OK to save changes
      Confirm yes and click OK
      Close and restart the browser
    • For Firefox
      Open Tools>Options>Content Check ‘Enable JavaScript’ checkbox
  10. Enable Pop-ups
    • Setup a New User Profile
    • For IE 7.0
      Under Tools>Internet Options>Privacy, click on Settings under Pop-Up Blocker. Enter in pcsbanking.net and ibank.pcs-sd.net under the Address of Website to allow and click Add.
    • For Firefox
      Under Tools>Options>Content, click Exceptions to the right of Block Pop Up Windows. Enter in pcsbanking.net and ibank.pcs-sd.net and click on Allow.
  11. Setup a New Windows User Profile
      Create a new user under Control Panel>User Accounts.
      Use the default settings that are setup with the new user
      Login into Windows as the new user
      Try to log into IB, if this works, then it is a setting with your User Profile
